MMDS-COM33
VHF • UHF • MMDS Combiner

The Qintar® model MMDS-COM33 is an outdoor unit that allows MMDS and local off-air signals to be combined on one cable entering the home while preventing MMDS aeronautical band signals from radiating backwards through the off-air antenna. Special filtering on the MMDS input eliminates spurious downconverter products from interferring with the off-air channels. The MMDS-COM33 provides highpass filtering for wireless MMDS superband input channels and band reject filtering of midband channels C to I and highband channels 7-13. The VHF and UHF antenna input is filtered to prevent MMDS signals from radiating from the VHF/UHF antenna. A high isolation combiner is used to provide a single output.

Features:

  • Outdoor case
  • Low cost
  • Filters MMDS spurious signals
  • Prevents MMDS leakage to the U/V antenna
  • Power passive to MMDS block converter
  • DC blocked to the antenna

Applications

  • High isolation combining of a broadband VHF/UHF antenna and a wireless MMDS blockconverter
  • Separation of VHF/UHF signals & wireless MMDS signal

Model MMDS-33A
Amplified VHF • UHF • MMDS Combiner

The Qintar® model MMDS-33A is an outdoor diplexing unit with antenna booster that allows the wireless signals and local off-air signals to be combined on one cable entering the home while preventing the MMDS aeronautical band signals from radiating backwards through the off-air antenna. A 14dB UHF/VHF pre-amp provides off-air antenna gain. The MMDS-33A provides highpass filtering for the wireless MMDS superband input channels and band reject filtering of midband channels C to I and highband channels 7-13. The VHF and UHF antenna input is filtered to prevent the MMDS signals from radiating from the VHF/UHF antenna. A high isolation combiner is used to provide a single output.
